However, if we're talking about mobile devices, their removal from the home network, disengagement, or even replacement, can leave your system without easy control. In particular, this makes it impossible to achieve a more complex logic of work, including timetables and timers.Nor can such a scheme provide data analysis tools, as well as trends, as there is no effective storage of information and universal databases. These opportunities are increasingly being used in modern building management systems.
Despite the unique potential of the iRidium multi-protocol architecture mobile, there is no tool to ensure reliable interaction between different devices and systems. To meet these challenges, an iRidium Server has been set up and has been active since last year.
New opportunities with iRidium Server
At the same time as maintaining unique flexibility and compatibility with various protocols and standards of automation systems, the client-server approach, implemented with iRidium Server, improves the convenience of work and facilitates the programming of management panels. The new architecture allows you to install a controller on the same local network as a control device, and on panels (including remote ones) it will be required to connect only to your server, but not to every device or bridge.
The built-in systems drives available in the editor include AV Custom Sys., Global Cache (including the ready code base for thousands of technology models), AMX, Clipsal (C-Bus), Crestron, Domintell, HDL-BUS Pro, Helvar, KNX, KNX IP BAOS, Modbus, EPSN. The additional server is capable of working through the Dryver based on Clipsal C-Gate, CoolMasterNet, Dune HD, ekey, Fibaro (Z-Wa Sonve), Highcross, Integra, Kramer, Marantz, nooLite, Onkyo, Philips Dynalite, Philips HUE, RaZberry
In addition, leaving the door open to the devices will help to virtualize the interaction schemes. The Server ensures the transparent transmission of the teams and the presentation of the Driver status of his project as its own universal devices. In fact, you can write the same code on the control panels, for example, the lighting dymmer, regardless of the machines used, whether KNX, HDL, Z-Wave or Philips HUE. It is possible to establish and fully develop virtual channels and tags, thus making it easier to process events and status. The panels, of course, retain the possibility of direct connection to systems and devices.
The permanent server allows work on schedules and timers. Many modern tasks will require the support of the organization server and the use of internal databases. This will, for example, be useful for projects with large amounts of information and for analyst and extended visualization.
Another significant change is the new licensing scheme. If previously licenses were installed on panels and could include different combinations of drivers, the licence is now required only for the server. The parameters will be the number of panels and the number of control points. At the same time, the server supports all the driveways at once, and the license for the panels connected to it is not required.
The additional server has its own service Web interface to control the work, run the panels, change the designs of the driveways, check the status of the canals and tags.
